Ah, Columbus Day. A time where we celebrate Imperialism from the point of invading the American coastline and the genocide of an entire native race. But let us not forget that all empires like the USA started out the same. Examples of this are found in history such as Great Britain, Rome, Nazi Germany, and the Soviet Union. There is no victory in war without sacrifice, in this case, we are all part of an empire with a dark history. Now, let us learn from our dark past and try to change our future, for repeating history will only set us back to the start.
