Ah, if wishes were fishes no one would ever go hungry. MARKET BASKET RUMINATIONS FOR THOSE WHO HAVENT YET HEARD ABOUT IT, CHECK THE MARKET BASKET FACEBOOK OR GOOGLE THE NEWS As much as i may (in my heart of hearts) long for the citizens of New England to dress up like Indians (in a manner reminiscent of a scene from Addams Family Values, in which Wednesday and Pugsley wreak havoc upon a summer camp Thanksgiving play) and chase the current Market Basket Board of Directors (dressed as Wilgrims, which is how my brother in law refers to Pilgrims for some unknown reason) through the streets of Lowell with torches and pitchforks, before confining them in stocks, bare arsed and backwards, war painting their behinds, and spanking them severely with their own tennis rackets, until we dont want another Lowell becomes the craven mantra in board rooms all over the nation, I suppose that cooler heads will probably prevail. Of course, one may always hope. The problem is greed. Greed (avarice) is an ugly disease, one which does not even recognize itself as such, a close cousin to Envy, which some have called the worst of Seven. My big problem (clearly) is Wrath, which sometimes seems however goddammit, to be the only solution to the rest of the lot. Bit of a catch 22 that. Anyway, these bastards should learn how to share, inasmuch as everyone else has to anymore, just to survive. Oh how i wish i were their parents. I would beat them daily, and subject them to endless privation (all for the sake of their character, of course.) As i age, i find that even Lust is failing me, leaving only Wrath (which given a decreasing capability to implement it, puts me in danger of becoming even kinder, gentler, and more infinitely patient than i already am). And so it is said that The Lord, in His Infinite Wisdom and Folly, hath put the Godayim Trayish in charge of the whole shebang, and the foxes in charge of the chicken coop, and all in order to confound the wise (unless the Devil done it.)
