Ah . . . my son the doctor! really grateful for the good work he and so many others in uniform service are doing that are making a very positive difference in Afghanistan and elsewhere. It is a heavy burden we have placed on a very amazing generation of men and women who stand between us and the troubles of the world. and the thing they say "I can see why we are here and why we are needed." there is more to combating terrorism than bombs and bullets and our soldiers and airmen understand the need for care and compassion. May the Lord watch over them and the great good they can do for those in need.
