Ahh one week down 7 more to go ...Introduction paragraph for my first English 102 essay in in the works... When the first smartphone came out I couldnt wait to get my hands on one. All the endless possibilities of apps I could download, games I could play, and not to mention the fact that I could have my email and Facebook available for me to access every second of the day made me think the smartphone was an extraordinary marvel of technology. Now that I own one I question if this device that I once thought of as the greatest piece of technology ever invented is actually worth the negative implications it has on people’s lives. Does the smart phone play a role in our society’s lack of interpersonal communication; pose dangerous health risk, and also infringe on one of our basics rights to privacy? As the capabilities of our mobile devices have increased, so has the discussion on what effect smartphones will have on our daily lives. What do you think? Looking for ideas and critique..
