Ahhh trip advisor, you never fail to dissapoint: I went to Tauch Terminal to dive the Liberty Wreck, taking the advantage of having the morning dive at 8:00 when dive safari tours of far away shops were still on their way to the site. The morning dive is satisfying and there are only divers from local shops. However, this German managed dive shop required divers to walk a distance of 70 m. on cobble stones with their weight belts on them to the point of entry, which may be too strenuous for some senior divers who were so used to the caring personal service offered in the Philippines. I preferred tipping someone to carry the 6 kg for me so that I could walk in a more care-free manner, but no such service was offered. It seemed that they would not honor divers who were not strong enough to carry their own weights. The restaurant of the resort on the seafront had a beautiful view, but was 15% to 20% more expensive than nearby ones (e.g. the ones opposite the police station on the main road), but food was of similar quality. Even worse, there were lots of flies around waiting to share your food. No measures were take to get rid of them. I asked the waitress why there were so many flies. She answered because it is now rainy season. She would have scored full mark when answering her science exam, but she lacked awareness that it was a complaint. ~BenLai Hong Kong, China
