Ahhh.. what a fun Friday night out for a change!! Had a fabulous time having an amazing dinner at RN74, then to the Triple Door to see Carbon Leaf. Was a great show from them, although I will say, for the money, standing room only tickets at the Triple Door kinda suck. Ok.. really suck. As in stuck in the way back behind pillars and next to the sound guys. But we were there to listen, not necessarily to watch them, so it was fine. But dinner was absolutely fabulous. RN74 is definitely worth the money. Between all of us we had Black Truffle Popcorn (OMG yum), roasted bone marrow (very good), duck fat fries (to die for), duck breast (mouthwateringly awesome), pork chop (perfect) with these insane green beans and the most excellent grits, burgers (definitely in the top 5 ever), and a maple creme brulee with sasparilla sorbet (perfect end for the 5 of us to split at the end of the meal). Their wait-staff was excellent also. My only critique about the place is it is a little loud, dont plan on a quiet romantic chat.
