Air India gets its 10th Dreamliner Notwithstanding a string of glitches the state-of-the-art aircraft has faced in the recent past, the tenth Dreamliner of Air India Ltd flew into New Delhi yesterday from the Boeing headquarters in Seattle, with Ajit Singh, Minister for Civil Aviation, Government of India, onboard. The latest Boeing 787, carrying call-sign VT-ANG, landed at the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport at 1350 hrs and was received by Rohit Nandan, Chairman and Managing Director, Air India, and Prabhat Kumar, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India, as per a PTI report. Singh was in the US, leading a team of his Ministry officials, to attend the India-US Aviation Summit. He had a series of meetings with aviation officials, apart from visiting the Boeing headquarters and manufacturing facilities.
