The aim of ANTS Examination is to identify the extraordinarily brilliant students and to encourage them through cash awards and other incentives to further improve and hone their talents. Conducted by the AJMAL FOUNDATION, a Hojai based registered public charitable trust whose allied activities for the cause of education include award of scholarship to meritorious students, financial assistance to the educational institutions and poor students, organizing coaching classes for competitive examinations, health care, relief and rehabilitation, environmental promotion etc. ANTS Examination envisages to motivate students in the North Eastern states towards inculcating a competitive spirit. Importance of ANTSE ANTSE is a diagnostic test that purports to test how well a child has understood the fundamentals of the subjects taught in classes. Thus, it helps parents and teachers to understand the strengths and weaknesses of the child in the basics. The preparation for ANTSE stimulates the thought process and helps the student to face new challenges. The preparation for ANTSE not only helps the students to test his mastery over his subjects taught in the class but also encourages him to acquire information and knowledge about the world around him. It awakens the students to the need of gleaning facts and information which in itself is an enjoyable pursuit and which also equips him to face the challenges of modern day entrance tests and competitive examinations. Eligibility: Students of class III, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII, IX, X, Higher Secondary classes XI & XII) and Degree 1st, 2nd, 3rd year B. A./B.Sc./B. Com. and students studying Law, Engineering, Medical, Management and Computer Science, etc. Exam pattern: v Class wise examination up to class X with objective type multiple Choice questions. v One combined paper of Higher Secondary level for class XI and XII. v One combined paper of Degree level for B. A. /B.Sc. /B. Com. and others. v Exam Fees: Rs.130/- (For each candidate) Medium: English, Assamese & Bengali (up to class XII) English (for Degree Students) Last Date of Receiving Forms: 10th March, 2014 Date & Time of Exam: 27th April 2014 (Sunday) 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. (Two Hours) Date of Declaration of Results: 11th August, 2014 Syllabus: Up to X: Mostly, prescribed State & Central Syllabi For H.S. & Degree: Conforming to the UPSC and APSC General Studies Pattern. How To Apply: A candidate willing to sit for the ANTS Exam must apply through his/her institution. The application Form attached with this brochure may be used or can be Xerox or neatly typed or may be downloaded from our website ajmalfoundation.org and should be filled up properly and submitted to the Principal/Headmaster/Coordinator of the institution who should collect the examination fees from the individual candidate and make a single DD/Mo for total money collected favoring Ajmal Foundation, A/C No: 11284630800 (Payable at the State Bank of India, Hojai Branch) and send it to the Office of the secretary, ANTSE,Ajmal Foundation, Hojai Pin- 782435, Dist: Nagaon, Assam. The Application Form, complete in all respects, must reach ANTSE Office on or before 10th March, 2014. The ANTSE Board will not be responsible for any postal delay and all applications received after the last date will be rejected and no correspondence will be entertained in this respect. Applications with two PP photographs with his/her name & class on the reverse side is a must. All correspondence shall be made with the exam centre only. Candidates shall receive Admit Cards, Certificates, Prizes etc. from their respective Exam centre only. Admit cards will be sent to the Exam Centre on or before 25th April 2014. Change in date, Venue and other exam related matter if any are subject to the decision of ANTSE Board only. If any Complains should be made within 30 days from the date of declaration of results. All disputes shall be subjected exclusively to Hojai jurisdiction only. Request for rechecking of answer script will not be entertained. Change of Exam centre without permission from the Board is not allowed. Result will be published in our official website & result bulletin, certificates & Cash Awards will be sent to Exam centres / coordinators only. Exam Fees: Rs. 130/- (For each candidate) Medium: English, Assamese & Bengali (up to class XII) English (for Degree Students) Last Date of Receiving Forms: 10th March, 2014 Date & Time of Exam: 27th April 2014 (Sunday) 11 a.m. To 1 p.m. (Two Hours) Date of Declaration of Results: 11th July, 2014 Awards Rs. 25 Lacs AJMAL TOPPERS The first rank holder in each class will be awarded Cash Award and scholarship of Rs.10000.00 The second rank holder in each class will be awarded Cash Award and scholarship of Rs.7800.00 The third rank holder in each class will be awarded Cash Award and scholarship of Rs.5600.00 AJMAL STARS After Rank, the next 50 students in order of marks irrespective of class will be awarded Ajmal Stars of Rs 700.00 AJMAL ACHIEVERS After Star, the next 800 students in order of marks irrespective of class will be awarded Ajmal Achievers of Rs. 300.00 AJMAL PROMISERS Minimum of 15% of students in order of marks in each ANTSE Center will be eligible of consolation prizes subject to the condition that this 15% includes other rank holders, stars and achievers. This is to encourage students in every center, specially the rural ones to develop interest for the examination.
