Akbar Uddin Owaisi asks power waiver for old city (Part-1) MIM legislature party leader in Telangana Assembly Akbaruddin Owaisi today reiterated his demand for white paper on the economic status of the new state and said it is imperative to know how the successive Congress and TDP Governments had ruined the region and done great injustice with it. He requested the Government to waive power bill arrears of poor people residing in old city of Hyderabad. Meanwhile the Telangana Government on Owaisi’s demand assured the house that 20 percent pass marks for Telugu subject in SSC examss will be restored. Meanwhile Akbaruddin Owaisi today appreciated Finance Minister Etela Rajender for his clarifications on budget allocations in the State Assembly. When the finance minister wound up his lengthy speech, Owaisi got up and appreciated him. He also sought the TRS Government to come up with a white paper to make public the facts. Akbaruddin appreciated Rajender for taking on the previous governments. He said that Rajender has shown his capability and patience in clarifying on various issues and exposing the ‘misdeeds’ of the successive governments.
