Akumafiete added 2 new photos. THE END OF APC IN SIGHT, AS TWO TOP APC GOVERNORS SET TO JOIN PDP The Peoples Democratic Party has said two governors of the All Progressives Congress are set to defect from the opposition party to the ruling party. Apart from the unnamed governors, the ruling party also added that some members of the National Assembly who are members of the APC are also set to defect to the ruling party. The National Publicity Secretary of the ruling party, Chief Olisa Metuh, stated this in a statement he issued in Abuja on Saturday. Metuh, in his statement titled ‘Lying Is APC’s Operational Creed’, also lambasted the APC for its alleged lying against the Federal Government. He said “many more of its members including two state governors and members of the National Assembly are now set to decamp to the PDP due to the bad image and anti-democratic stance of the APC.” He also upbraided the APC leaders for “working against the national interest and making themselves a laughing stock in the eyes of the international community by going to the British House of Commons and various international events to concoct stories in a bid to damage the image of their own nation” adding that such only portrays them as unpatriotic and irresponsible. “We have before us individuals who most likely are used to concocting damaging stories even against their spouses and friends. This despicable trait must be dropped and should not transcend to fabricating destructive lies capable of tarnishing the image of our own dear nation,” he added. He lambasted the APC for allegedly attempting to deceive Nigerians by issuing statements to present former Governor of Borno state, Senator Ali Modu Sheriff as being in President Goodluck Jonathan’s entourage to Chad knowing same to be completely false. Metuh, in the statement described as “repulsive and utterly despicable, the refusal of the APC to shed its taste for lying, spreading of falsehood and attacks on individuals as means of achieving political control in spite of several counsels by well-meaning Nigerians.”
