Albert Kang Pastor · 編輯紀錄 · Dead Woman Raised To Life A young Indonesian woman, named Rena, used to attend church in Bandung until she married an unbeliever. Since she stopped attending church, her pastor, Rev Elyas Parera, was very sad that one of his flock had backslidden. Two years later, he heard the bad news that Rena was very sick. There was a cancerous cyst in her womb and that it had burst. She was rushed to Emmanuel Hospital for treatment which was two hours away by car from her village. By then, she had not been able to drink water for ten days. At the hospital, the doctors examined Rena and felt that there was nothing that they could do to help her. They then asked her relatives to take her home to prepare for her funeral. True to the doctors’ words, when Rena reached her village, her health condition took a nosedive and she died at 5:00 PM. According to the local religious custom, Rena’s body was bathed and prepared for immediate burial. The villagers and friends soon gathered for a “solat” ceremony to prepare the soul of the dead person to enter heaven. (Rena said later that at that time, her soul was actually moving through a dark tunnel). Pastor Elyas learned about the death and began to pray. He felt that the Lord wanted to raise Rena from the dead. He used the “distance healing” method that he had learned through The Elijah Challenge and began to command Rena to rise from the dead. Then, with absolute faith of his God-given power and authority, he telephoned one of his Christian elders in the village to visit the dead woman. He gave the elder specific instruction to “wake” Rena up and to meet him at Emmanuel Hospital in Bandung. The elder was taken aback and repeated the information that Rena had passed away. In fact, at that time, the elder was collecting funds for Rena’s funeral. The pastor explained that he understood that Rena had died but he still required the elder to wake her up in the name of Jesus. The elder obeyed and took his wife with him to visit the dead woman. The elder’s wife managed to make her way through all the mourners and got close to the body. With all eyes upon her, the Elder’s wife took hold of Rena’s lifeless hand and commanded, “Rena! Get up in the name of Jesus”. The miracle happened – Rena moved her fingers and then opened her eyes. Everybody there was extremely surprised. Then the Elder’s wife said to Rena, “You have to meet Pastor Elyas at Emmanuel Hospital.” Following this instruction, the relatives drove Rena back to the hospital which was a two-hour journey. In fact, out of curiosity, almost the whole village turned up at the hospital. They had never seen this before – a dead person became alive in the name of Jesus. Pastor Elyas was surprised to see so many villagers at the hospital. The doctors examined and found that Rena was alive but a little dehydrated. By means of intravenous solution, the resurrected woman was hydrated. After staying at the hospital for a night, she felt well enough the next day and requested to return home. Another miracle had happened - after the doctors did a thorough medical examination and to their surprise the tumor in Rena’s uterus had miraculously vanished. Rena’s health had totally recovered and was able to eat and drink normally. God had raised her from the dead and at the same time healed her of all her diseases. Today, Rena is living in good health and had since become a devout disciple of Christ. This miracle has caused the people of the other religions to seek the Person of Christ and many have since given their lives to Him. youtu.be/gDHgAvc4er0 From Rev Albert Kangs new book, Healing Evangelism
