Aleister Crowleys ideas and influences were responsible for what became known as Wicca/Wica over nearly half a century after he was born. He remains arguably deserving of the distinction of being not only the Worlds most notorious and influential occultist, practitioner of Magick and mysticism, even coining the first promulgating of the word Magic spelled with the addition of the letter k. Thats right, Crowley did that or at least, he made it known. If one is interested in learning about Aleister Crowley, you may refer to his Wikipedia page; However, his history is often skewed and misrepresented by people with major biases, so that being said, it is recommended that to learn of Crowley, one appeals to his own writings, not here say, each for themselves.
