Aleppo Governor: Terrorists Continue to Block Food and Medicine Access to Central Prison .. Feb 23, 2014 Aleppo, (SANA)- Aleppo Governor Mohammad Wahid Akkad stressed Sunday that the armed terrorist groups have been preventing the Syria Arab Red Crescent from delivering food and medicine to the inmates of the Central Prison of Aleppo for the sixth day in a row. In a statement to SANA, the Governor warned of “a humanitarian disaster” at the prison if the armed terrorist groups would continue to derail the Red Crescent’s efforts in violation of all international legislations and laws. He pointed out that the health condition of the prison inmates is severely deteriorating due to the terrorists’ block of food and medicine from accessing the prison.
