Alert: some guy just rang my doorbell and wanted to take a look at my roof regarding the March 28 hail storm. I told him that we had our handyman look at it, and that I always go through USAA referrals. He asked me if I was sure I really had a handy man, and said he wanted to look anyway. I told him to stay off my roof, and that I would take his card in case I changed my mind. I was insulted that he accused me of lying and irritated that he showed up on a Saturday evening. I cant prove this, but I have a gut feeling that this guy might be taking advantage of people. Otherwise, he would have come by after the storm. I got an icky feeling about him.
