Alex Madu Ikpeazu wins as Tony Elekeokwuri is disqualified for electoral malpractice, the major reason given for his disqualification is that he coined with the following aspirants, Christian Okpambor, Sylvester Ukwuandi, Sebastian Okoh to commit the electoral malpractice. It was observed that all the said aspirants did not vote for themselves neither did they inform the retuning officer of their intention of stepping down for any one which amount to electoral fraud and disqualification.
