Alexander the Great conquered the known world by age 33. Hannibal Barca was 25 when he led one of the greatest military campaigns in world history, crossing the Swiss Alps with an army of elephants and warriors into Italy and defeating Rome in its own backyard. Joan of Arc cemented her place in history by the time of her death at the ripe old age of 19. Jesus Christ was 30-33 years old when He died, forever changing the world in his brief time here. Martin Luther King Jr accomplished more by his death at age 39 than most do by age 89. Fred Hampton, leader of the Chicago faction of the Black Panthers was in leadership by the age of 19! When you go back and watch those old news clips on YouTube, you can easily forget he was just a teenager. Compared to most 19 year olds today...there really is no comparison. In 41 years of living I ask myself: what have i done with my life? I feel like Im just getting started! What significance with my own life have I made? Have I changed life on the planet for the better? Made a dent in the universe? Or have I been lounging around as if time is on standby at my disposal? I want to set the world on fire the right way: spark a movement; change society into a more perfect version of its highest potential. If I loved at least one person the right way, raised a few grand kids and some great-grands, helped patch up a few broken relationships, forgiven a few enemies and led someone into a closer union with the Divine: that would be a rich and rewarding life for me. Maybe write a few dozen books, sell 30 million copies, and make a few fortunes as well for good measure. Hey, for all we know we only come this way once. Might as well make it grand! ;-) What are the highest visions you have for your own life? What would you like to accomplish in your lifetime? And dont play small with your answer either. Theres no humility in playing small when you have the potential to play big...
