Alexis Hope Hanes would like for you to Meet Carly! Carly is 3 years old...soon to be 4 in November. Happy Birthday Carly! Carlys mom loves to buy the colors Red and Purple for her. Carly LOVES animals...shes going to be a white Tiger for Halloween! She has practiced her ROAR and shes ready to go! Carly enjoys playing with her Webkinz and stuffed animals and pretending that she owns a ZOO. Now that we know a little about this precious sweet girl...allow me to ask you to remember her and her family in your prayers. Carlys parents recently went on a camping trip together. It was a little cold and in the need for warmth they used the gas stove to provide heat. Unfortunately, the parents drifted off to sleep not realizing there was a gas leak taking place. It’s heartbreaking to say that Carlys dad, Craig, did not awake and her mom, Allison, was barely holding on and life-flighted to a nearby hospital. Carlys mom is currently being cared for in the ICU. We did receive a special praise report today! Allison showed some improvement today in her heart function and encouraging signs in her brain function. She is also receiving Kidney support with dialysis today, which is not believed at this time to remain permanent. We believe when Philippians 4:6-7 tells us to “Be anxious for NOTHING, but in EVERYTHING by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, shall guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” On a softer note…Carly’s Father was laid to rest today. Matthew 5:4 “Blesses are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.” The family is so grateful for all of the prayers and truly believes in the POWER of PRAYER! John 14:13-14 “And whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. “If you ask anything in My name, I will it.” I would like to propose that we do a little something special for Carly! We all know how much kids enjoy getting mail! It’s the highlight of their day when they’ve received anything in the mail with THEIR name on it. So…I was thinking it would be neat, in addition to our prayers, to send sweet surprises of sunshine to Miss Carly. We can send cards, Webkinz, stuffed animals, nonfiction books on animals, Lincoln Logs to help build her own Zoo, coloring books, play dough sets, etc…let’s get creative. P.S. Carly isn’t too much into princesses. She loves her animals! Please feel free to inbox me or comment below if you would like to send a surprise of sunshine or have any questions. Please feel free to share with your friends. We want to build Carly a zoo and a support group for prayer. We would like to Thank You in advance for your prayers!
