Alhamdulillah, I am humbled to see that this page has passed 200,000 subscribers. May Allah put more barakah in it. For those who are new (and for those who need a refresher), this page is run by myself (and Ill always write in the first person) and admins (who will only post videos, write in third person and sign off as Admin). On this page, you will find quotes, ideas, links and random thoughts that interest me! So, mainly Islamic stuff, but lots of politics, social media, culture, and the odd joke here and there :) Feel free to express agreement or disagreement, but ALWAYS BE POLITE!!! Lastly, there seem to a very small, yet extremely vocal, minority on this page who only wish to make derogatory comments. With all respect to you, and with the utmost politeness possible, if you feel that I am a deviant, or that my studying with non-Muslims at Yale has caused me to go astray, or that I am off-the-manhaj, or any other such verdict, then for your OWN sake, please unsubscribe and and follow a scholar or teacher that you feel will benefit you. This page is not meant to debate, and my honest and Islamic advice to you is to benefit with your time and stick to those people whom you feel will bring you closer to Allah, whoever they might be. You have every right to your opinion; be wise about how you express it, and be productive and useful in your sphere of influence. For the rest of you: I pray that these reminders will be some of the more positive things you read on the internet and Facebook. Lastly, I must advise myself and all of you: dont spend too much time online, make sure you have some actual human contact with friends and family, and especially make sure every day goes by with some Quranic recitation, dhikr, and dua.
