Alhamdulillah.... question ? How can i know that Allah is with me ?? sometimes i feel that i can not feel it from my heart that Allah is with me, Satisfied with me.. even if i then ask for his forgiveness .. that makes me so so desperate I feel like the connection is not so good .. What should i do ?? Jazakum Allah . I will tell you about seven signs.. if you can find them in yourself then ma shaa Allah, Allah is satisfied with you.. and if could find some of them in you, then this is how Allah SWT is satisfied with you.. and if Allah forbid you cant find any of them in you, then its otherwise.. lets see.. 1) Good deeds and acts of worship are facilitated and consistent for you.. 2) You find peace in your heart so youre never angry, upset or disappointed no matter what the trial is.. 3) You have complete belief in Allahs promise of victory and empowerment of the believers regardless of the tribulations.. 4) Not making the issue of livelihood a first priority as Allah has already granted each soul its livelihood, but you rather make the effort and leave the rest to Allah.. 5) Loving to be alone with Allah, reading the Quran, doing remembrance and never getting bored of it.. 6) Loving the company of pious and righteous people.. 7) Caring to learn Islam and helping others to.. It was narrated that prophet Moses AS said: O Lord, tell me about the signs of your satisfaction with your servant. So Allah revealed to him: If you see me facilitating obedience for my slave and impeding transgression for him, then that is the sign of my satisfaction.. and the prophet SAW said Allah is pleased with His slave when he eats something and praises Him for it, or drinks something and praises Him for it” [Muslim].. As for the second part of the question.. beware that Shaytaans trickiest trick is to let you reach the state of hopeless case.. you try to get closer to Allah.. you make an effort.. you move forward.. the devil is jealous.. because youre slipping out of his trap.. but as human, you eventually sin.. youre pulled back by your sins.. you try again.. you sin.. and this is when the devil steps in.. its a hopeless case he whispers to you.. this world is too difficult to hold on to the rope of Allah.. and the more you try, the more the devil escalates his whispering and traps.. you might give up some good acts of worship you were used to.. so if Allah SWT leaves you in such a state, youd indeed become a hopeless case.. instead.. by His mercy and blessings.. and as a result of being a little far from where Allah wants you to be.. He SWT lets get into this state of hopelessness.. which has only one remedy.. found in the Quran.. Surat Al-Raad, verse 28, where Allah SWT said Those who believe, and whose hearts find satisfaction (rest) in the remembrance of Allah: for without doubt in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find satisfaction (rest) (13:28).. and He SWT is the one Who said Say O my Servants who have transgressed against their souls! Despair not of the Mercy of Allah: for Allah forgives all sins: for He is the Forgiving, the Merciful (39:53).. so whenever this happens, give the devil no chance to capitalize on it... and flee to your Lord... And counter-attack.. by reminding yourself that you are NOT a hopeless case.. rather the Devil is!
