Alison Lundergan Grimes is clearly the better choice for Senator, and clearly the better choice for Kentucky. Alison is up against a professional politician, he knows the moves and the right things to say no matter how much spin he has to put on his remarks. I think Alison needs to speak to the hearts of Kentuckians more, as in I know what you are going through, I know how hard it is to make a living with the prices of everything the way they are, and you feel there is no one on your side. This is what I mean by speaking to the hearts of Kentuckians. Alison needs to get more personal with the people. Mitch McConnell doesnt know how to get personal with the people. His name has won him the elections in the past, not what he has done for Kentucky. He knows the right things to say even though he doesnt mean them. Mitch has the money, he is backed by all the important people. He is backed by all the Republican party. Alison Lundergan Grimes can overcome all the money and professional politicians like Mitch if she reaches out to the hearts of the people and will make her campaign one on one with the voters of this state. Alison is a hard worker, and she needs to relay the message to people that she knows what its like to get up at 6:00 AM and fix breakfast for everyone else and get herself ready for work. She needs to relay the message she knows what its like to care for sick children. This is what I mean by speaking to the hearts of the people. A message of this nature will overcome money every time. She knows how much it hurts to purchase a tank of gasoline. Many families have to let something else go to buy gasoline. I think this type of message will be the difference between a close election and a landslide victory for Alison Lundergan Grimes. I think a lot of people are not as up on politics as we are, but when a mother hears Alison speak to her heart, that will be a vote Nov.4th.
