Last time I was there Tilly was one angry, aggressive pony and I had to hide in the school with her companion Charlie. She was not a happy pony. Many folk would have given up on Tilly and used excessive force, not Melanie her patience, taking the time Tilly needed, and the use of positive reinforcement has paid off. Today Tilly is a different pony, she isnt so angry any more, accepting tack and Melanie sat on her back happily walking round the yard. Tilly looked very pleased with herself , she seemed a lot more cheerful a pleasure to see. Happy tears shed :-) a privilege to watch.
