All, A campaign has been launched to flood our local, state, and federal political representatives with letters demanding that they take affirmative action to support our Institution and our livelihoods. Please write letters to the following: 1) Middle States Commission on Higher Education to let them know you support SDC and to get it to revoke its decision to close SDC. 2) Federal lawmakers to get them to act on a federal regulation, 34 CFR 602.3, to get the MSCHE to revoke its decision to close SDC and to solicit their support in fundraising via bills, grants, etc. 3) Local and state lawmakers to write to MSCHE to let them know they support SDC and to get them to revoke its decision and to solicit their support in fundraising via bills, grants, etc. 4) Newspapers and/or other media to get a positive message recorded about SDC and the fact that we care. The goal is to send a minimum of 1000 letters out by the close of the year, via email and/or regular mail.
