All Australians will have the blood of those who are tortured, killed or disappeared if they are returned to the Sri Lankan government. The government for implementing this cruel and inhumane policy, the opposition for being too quiet on this issue and we the people of Australia for not doing enough to protect those people who fled persecution and were merely looking for a refuge where they could be safe, and doing so legally according to International Conventions to which Australia is a signatory. This will be another great time of shame in Australias history.
