All ESPN Analysts are aware of their network demographics and - TopicsExpress

All ESPN Analysts are aware of their network demographics and markets [audience]. Demographically, 71% of the people watching ESPN are 35 and over with the average person being 47 years old. 75% of these viewers are male, and 71% of them are home owners. Black people only make up approx. 14 million viewers or about 12% of the people in America watching ESPN. Therefore, the majority of Stephen A. Smiths audience, or prime viewers, are not pant saggers; theyre white male home owners in their mid 40s. So now reconsider Stephen A. Smiths commentary, and the audience hes actually talking to, when hes openly criticizing young black people, particularly males 35 and under who arent even watching ESPN who may be sagging their pants, speaking slang, not using correct English, and not personally advancing themselves to achieve the American Dream [getting theirs like Stephen A. got his]. It sounds a lot like Bill Cosby... From my perspective, Jalen Rose is much more conscious, considerate, and effective with using his platform to represent, and articulate the concerns of black people, a small under represented minority, in front of a majority white [male] audience. https://youtube/watch?v=ptyeGlVB_Ds&feature=youtube_gdata_player
