All eyes are on New York City as the big apple decides whether to charge drivers $15-20 to go downtown. The idea is to cut down on congestion. Do you think a plan like that would work to cut down on traffic jams in Downtown Austin? Remember this. Texas (and Austin) are net creators of jobs (today). Lest we attempt to emulate places that are job and growth killers. Austin (Travis County) is already behind the growth of other places. Something like this could accelerate this should those in power lose their way and forget these facts. Places like Williamson County will already eclipse Travis County in the future based on current trends.
