All firefighters in Singapore must go through flashover training. It is as close as they can get to an extremely real fire during training. I have been to a couple of fires during my tour in the fire service. Trust me the heat in the flashover container is almost the same or bit lesser than the heat in Ship fires. I still remember when I was involved in fighting a ship fire. The heat in the burning ship is extreme. Its already good if you can last at least five minutes inside the heat of burning ship, and of course, plus the danger of it explode (rule of Murphys law). I always believe fire fighting and rescue is still one of those honorable job that deserves respect. My respect to those people who are in service!
