All good things must come to an end. After almost 4 years in - TopicsExpress

All good things must come to an end. After almost 4 years in Highline I am taking a break from the stage for the winter and getting my head and heart together. I still have not recovered from the loss of my friend and musical partner Kirk Goodman and my heart is just not in it right now. I am sure I will be back out doing something in the future, but not sure what or when. Thinking I may start work on another solo album. Thank you to my friends for your love and support. It is with a heavy heart that I have to announce that Highline has decided to call it quits. On behalf of Mark, Dan, and myself (Paul), we appreciate everyones support throughout the years. Thank you to Sid for his hard work to help us keep going. We are all good friends and will continue to be so, but the reality is that the loss of Kirk took a huge emotional toll on the band that we have not yet recovered from, so we are all taking a sabbatical. Thank you to the friends who came out to support us at our final show last night. One of the Highlights of my (Paul) entire musical life was the Mosquito Lounge Bike Night Tribute and getting to play with so many talented bassists and seeing so many friends come out to show love and support. I added over 300 photos to the Kirk tribute page on the Highline website, so go and check them out and relive that wonderful day and remember our dear friend. highlinerocks/tribute.html Thanks again for everything, Paul and the Highline guys.
