All government employees in Washington state will soon have the ability to ask for two unpaid days off a year for religious purposes. The state Legislature passed the new law that entitles all local and state government workers two unpaid holidays a year “for reasons of faith or conscience or for an organized activity conducted under the auspices of a religious denomination, church or religious organization.
