All hallows Halloween, Halloween Halloween!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is that time of year. The Altus Police Officers are once again going to operate Spooky Town. This is a safe place for kids under the age of 13 to come and get candy. Last year we gave out candy to thousands of kids (I heard one estimate was around 5000). with that being said, we are in need of your donations of candy. If you want to donate candy, please make sure that it is in its original individual wrapper. Packages with multiple pieces are best. Any cash donations to the FOP for this can be written off as a charitable donation since we are a non profit organization. All donations will go directly to Spooky Town. Please bring all donations to the police department located at 509 S. Main in Altus. Spooky Town is the old safety town located adjacent to the museum and across the road from the Community Center. We invite you to come out and bring the kids (costumes are customary), mingle with the police officers and other emergency services. Please remember, this is for kids only. See you at Spooky Town. Gates open from 7-9pm.
