All joking aside, as a coach I truly believe in days where you just have to get it done. Often times that is in reference to accessory work, but can sometimes be for strength or WOD esp if an athlete is having a bad day, focusing on smaller goals rather than usual high expectations. This also applies to days where the one and only goal is setting an Fing PR. Here we pride ourselves on technique but even that goes out the windows at times. This means there can sometimes be some ugly looking lifts but I stand by the fact that the confidence gained from hitting such lifts, the power from numbers we get, is much more important than any technique perfection....as long as these days are few and far between. This was one of those days, and Stacey Kroon lifting 200# and Jack Martin lifting 275#.
