All of our athletes have patiently waited, and here it is: A new, more refined, bigger location for our gym! CrossFit boxes havent always been known for their fancy surroundings or cushy environment - we place function over form from the ground up. That is why CrossFit Manitowoc started in a garage. After that our locations have been rustic and raw. Although we have appreciated the industrial/grungy look, that feeling was accompanied by cracked windows, leaking ceilings, loud air compressors, dirty floors, dodging forklifts, inhaling spray paint fumes, minimal heating, no cooling and bathrooms with no stalls. We are excited to soon offer a new less rustic and raw home for our dedicated and loyal athletes who have been with us through thick and thin, cold and hot, and dirty and loud. You deserve it, and we cant wait to bring you this new facility! What to expect from this new space: 1) 3500 square feet of functional training area (about 30% larger floor space) 2) Bathrooms with stalls :) 3) Showers 4) Heat!! (And A/C but dont expect me to keep it at 64 degrees!) 5) Play room for kids 6) Ample parking 7) No flock of seagulls circling your car 8) No rate changes for training, in fact we are offering some new referral programs to make it even less expensive! Below are pictures of it in the demo phase! Lots of work to be done before we can move in but hopefully by Late October/Early November we will be able to having a moving WOD. With the move and new amenities, its time to really show off the program and community to those who dont know about it yet, so as we move be on the look out for new promotional offers that will be launching in the next month: - A referral bonus that will reward both new and current members who participate - A limited number of compd memberships for people who volunteer to help with some specific big jobs we have to do in the new space - (Coach Matt DiMarco is cringing now) - A 1000 burpee commitment from him if this Facebook page gets 1000 likes.
