All of the following photos, are places where THE SOUND OF MUSIC was filmed! There were two houses involved,one for the front, and one for the back. Also two churches. The place they hid in, in the movie, was not in the Abby, it was in the graveyard of the church where the beginning scene of the wedding, behind the big gate, was filmed, before she walked down the aisle. But, when she walked down the aisle, it was a different church. Very confusing, but they were not allowed to film in the actual church the real Maria and Baron married. The real Abby, did not allow filming there either. Hollywood magic helped to make it all work! Lots of fun to see.
