All of this week I have been preparing for the Natural Dye workshop I will be running this Sunday 27th Oct at The Central Coast Mens Shed in Ulverstone. This morning I took a car load of dye pots, leaves to dye with and some other bits & pieces over to the venue. I took the opportunity to pre soak my dried dye sources, so they will be ready to use on the day. In the men shed there were about 20 fellows. Some took great interest in what on earth I was doing. A few even said they might come and have a look on Sunday. As it was they were having their monthly BBQ in the shed and they invited me in their man cave to have lunch with them, which I thought was very kind. I got a nice bread roll with a sausage, fried onion, a cup of tea and a biscuit for a gold coin donation. Here I was having lunch with 20+ fellows, who are so friendly and helpful. They had their wood fire going, it was very cosy in the shed. It is so good to see how well this facility is being used. Like · · Promote · Share.
