All over France today French people are celebrating the Epiphany. Historically the Epiphany is known as the coming of the three wise men to baby Jesus. The Epiphany today is more commonly known as Les Rois meaning the kings. The first Sunday of January French family will gather and share and eat a galette des rois together regardless of their faith. The recipe demonstrated below is the recipe of La galette des Rois also known as La galette à la frangipane or La galette parisienne. It indeed originates from Paris.
