All right, better shooting by Team Cardinal to dust ASU in Vegas, setting up a Pac-12 semi with UCLA [AZ vs CO in other semi]. Going in, ASU had a #9 seed and we were a #10. ASU shot poorly. This win punches a ticket for the NCAAs-- first time since 2008 when we came in as a #3 seed (at 26-7) and made it to a regional semi. So, we either stay a #10 seed, or get a rough #8-#9 game, followed by a #1 seed. Based on tonights Bracketology (before this win over ASU) here is our easy path: Open a #10 seed vs a tall, physical #7 UNM squad, then very athletic #2 KANS in St. Louis. Surviving that, we face #3 CUSE in Sweet 16, followed by #1 FLOR for a reg. final in Memphis (SOUTH bracket). We like em tough. MIDWEST bracket would be slightly better: vs. #7 MEMP, then #2 MICH, and #3 VIRG with the #1 seed WICH at Indianapolis... to reach the Final Four.
