All right, so I have the weekend off. This hasnt happened in like nine months, so Im starting tomorrow with the closest thing to a comic book thats ever been put onscreen, The Matrix. You can make an argument for Zack Snyders 300 or Watchmen, but in those cases its pulled panel-for-panel in large part, so its not like there was some huge creative process involving shot choice and what-not. Seriously, pause the video every time a cut occurs, and youll see the first Matrix film is a straight-up comic book.
