All right this is my first post,, I have made comments, but here is my take on MREs... First I bought a case of MREs, a case contains 12 packages.. This was at a cost of $70.00, thats $5.84 each.. here is the break down of that case (B). There is a case (A)... Entrees, Menu: 13 Cheese tortilla in tomato sauce, Menu 14 ratatouille mixed vegetable & penne, menu 15 Mexican style chicken stew, menu 1 rib shaped barbecue flavored pork patty, menu 17 pork sausage maple flavored, menu 18 beef ravioli in meat sauce, menu 19 beef patty jalapeno pepper jack, menu 20 spaghetti w beef n sauce, menu 21 chicken breast fillet garlic n herb seasons, menu 22 Asian style beef stew w vegetables, menu23 chicken pesto pasta, menu 24 southwestern beef n black beans, now here is what comes with the entrees 1 package each, apple jelly, grape jelly, twizzlers, skittles, nut raisin mix, Italian bread sticks, patriotic cookies?, hot n spicy crackers, cinnamon bun, multi grain snack bread, turkey snacks, chocolate banana muffin top, oatmeal chocolate chunk cookie, cherry blueberry cobbler, applesauce w raspberry puree, toasted corn nuts, roasted peanuts, pretzels, kippered beef snack, 2 packages each, vanilla pound cake, cranberries, 4 packages each, peanutbutter, wheat snack bread, vegetable crackers, 6 packages each, cheese packs drink mix, 1 each mocha cappuccino mix, carbohydrate electrolyte mix, lemon lime mix, lemon mix, strawberry banana dairy shake, chocolate dairy shake ; 3 packs each of tropical punch mix, cocoa mix, 12 each, spoons, condiment package, heaters, bags I am sure I left something out,,,, like the condiment bags that have coffee, splenda and cream and other stuff you can pick and choose what to put in your BoB.. So how does this stack up to Freeze dried foods, cost n what not?
