All souls day... yes, i remember and honor the memories of my loved ones who passed away... and as I do, I praise God for those sweet and even some of the bitter moments I have spent with them... As I bring back to memory their faces, their voices and their cares, I thank God over and over again... As I honor their memories, it reminds me also that I too shall go back to the dust and ashes from which this mortal flesh came from, but it encourages me for the hope that I have in Jesus Christ... Just as He has conquered sin and death, I too shall conquer it, for in Christ, I have the hope of everlasting life. Oh when that mighty trump shall sound and the dead in Christ shall rise, and we who remain shall be caught up in the sky... and with honor and laud and praise to Christ the King, a never ending song well sing through all eternity in Heavens glory; in the presence of the King... in the presence of my King!
