All the Crazy Crackers on facebook trying & failing to understand white privilege. And failing to understand the fact, that they live inside the bubble, hampers their ability to understand it. Only through experience of discrimination of others and awareness of their privilege will they ever understand... which they probably wont because they are adamant it doesnt exist. Or they think because they have privilege they must be forced to feel guilty about something. Guilt has NOTHING to do with white privilege! (Unless they DO feel guilty about it but thats probably because they know how theyve treated others) Its about recognizing class and our man-made ideas about race & how our American & Western society in general has been constructed to support an Anglo-Saxon white-male patriarchy. What is so difficult to understand about that? Its simple facts of social, political, economics & history!
