All things are possible We are approaching the close of the year 2014, a year in which the world has witnessed much change in technological advancements, global warfare, fatal epidemics and natural disasters. But despite all this, God is good and greatly to be praised. When Jesus said that that you must confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that he is Lord, He was aligning you to an over-arching divine truth. It is then for the believer to accept His truth and to step out in faith, to live by what you believe to be true. Its not what you think in your mind that should guide you, but what you feel in your heart. Belief is not only what you have chosen to think is true, but what you feel is real. Belief translates possibilities into reality. When Jesus was on earth, His ministry and teaching was taking the believers to the next level, to believe in a world of possibilities. The only way to begin this journey is to imagine the reality of transformation and change. The existence that Jesus wants His believers to be in is a world of possibilities. Therefore healing, sickness, deliverance, possessing your possessions is all in your grasp - if you only have faith to believe. If Gods people believed that the world of possibilities were in their grasp, then when in prayer or in using their imagination, they need only to step literally into a world of possibilities to see healing, miracles and deliverance taking place. Thus when seen, it is then only necessary just to confirm that perceived reality into being. Remember, in the book of Hebrews 11, the bible says that by faith the world was formed. God is love and if we have faith in His great love then we will understand that blessings follow believers and flowing in an abundance can be a reality of life. If we believe in our heart that it is possible, then understanding the power of love can free the realities of our hearts and inspire us into doing great feats whether for ourselves, for others or for our God, all as normal acts of love. It is good to truly believe that all things are possible with God and how our faith can contribute to taking action which helps to achieve desired outcomes and needs being met. For all this one needs to be prepared to change our thinking and understand how and why we do things. When you begin to understand this it will contribute to your prayer life and help you you speak into the atmosphere those things which are not as though it already is. What I mean is, when we transmit the emotional focus and intentions of our heart into our prayers, then our words will be weighted with a deeper meaning, powerful enough to cut into the atmosphere and alter the energy levels, causing a breakthrough to happen from the earthly realm into the heavenly and lifting our faith filled prayers up to reach our Father in heaven. Having these breakthrough moments in prayer will make your words a lot more meaningful so that as you walk, talk and speak, it will all be done in faith. Your faith filled prayers will establish your words, line upon line, precept upon precept; aligning perfectly for the Lords will to be done on earth as it is in, where? Heaven. Amen. Believing in your heart is more powerful than believing in your mind. Therefore, when you believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is Lord, something happens. A spiritual veil is broken, the eyes of your heart begin to flutter and open, things begin to become clear, the truth is setting you free. It opens the door to the Holy Spirit, allowing the King of glory to come in. The message I am sharing is that changing your belief changes your physical world. Becoming the Lords vessel allows us to be a spiritual beacon and power-house, desiring to be the hands and feet and the mouthpiece of the living God. The bible says that we are like a city on a hill that cannot be hidden, and that we are the light of the world that shines out of darkness. The light that shines within us is from the light that shines in our hearts; this is the light which reveals itself as the glory and knowledge of God in the face of Jesus Christ. Matt. 5:14, 2 Corinthians 4:6 The bible says in Proverbs 4:18 that ‘The path of the righteous is like the morning sun, shining ever brighter till the full light of day.’ When Jesus spoke to the people, He said, I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life….“Believe in the light while you have the light, so that you may become children of light…. Apostle Paul continues, “… that you may become blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke in the midst of a crocked and perverse nation, among whom you shine as lights in the world ;…”( John 8:12, John 12:36, Philippians 2:15). The Bible goes on to say in the book of Daniel 12:3 ‘Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever.’ Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night nor of darkness (1 Thessalonians 5:5). And so the light enlightens our vision. This includes how we see ourselves, how we perceive others and how we look upon our relationship with God. And this enlightened perception opens our eyes and our heart to know how we feel about making a difference in this world. As a spiritual powerhouse we want to make a difference, no question about it. We know that we can do all things in Christ Jesus. The bible wants us to be clear in our understanding that the fear of the world is not the same as the fear of the Lord. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and wisdom is the principle thing that we all need to get. One way of fighting the good fight of faith is to do battle with worldly fear and win. We must conquer fear if we are to do great exploits. If we are afraid and intimidated by those things common to man - death, sickness, evils of the world, then what victory can we, as believers, bring? We are all stuffed. But the bible says that the fear of the Lord is spiritual, not earthly, which is a different kind of fear altogether. We ought not to quake and shake at concerns common to man but to tremble and be in awe of God who has power over all things. This fear, that sees us humble before the Almighty, is a godly fear of the right kind, an enlightened and honest understanding of our place before Him, which we must concede to as this is right and proper and is the beginning of true wisdom. Jamieson-Fausset-Brown Bible Commentary Ye are the light of the world—This being the distinctive title which our Lord appropriates to Himself (John 8:12; 9:5; and see John 1:4, 9; 3:19; 12:35, 36)—a title expressly said to be unsuitable even to the highest of all the prophets (Joh 1:8)—it must be applied here by our Lord to His disciples only as they shine with His light upon the world, in virtue of His Spirit dwelling in them, and the same mind being in them which was also in Christ Jesus. Gills Exposition of the Entire Bible Ye are the light of the world,.... What the luminaries, the sun and moon, are in the heavens, with respect to corporal light, that the apostles were in the world with regard to spiritual light; carrying and spreading the light of the Gospel not only in Judea, but all over the world, which was in great darkness of ignorance and error; and through a divine blessing attending their ministry, many were turned from the darkness of Judaism and Gentilism, of sin and infidelity, to the marvellous light of divine grace.read
