All this Isis crap is really taken the headlines. This country - TopicsExpress

All this Isis crap is really taken the headlines. This country needs leadership in this issue. While I feel bad about these other citizens of the other countries I feel that it isnt our battle. We cannot sustain wars for others. My platform would be to bring all the troops home immediately. Put military on our boarders and require people to come here legally. I would put a missile defense shield in place. I would create more aircraft carriers and battle groups to the 600 ship navy we once were. I would impose a tariff on all exported oil. I would impose tariffs on all incoming durable goods. I would implement the fair tax that would derive all Federal Income from a sales tax. This would cut the corporate income tax but they would pay taxes via the sales tax in the purchase of equipment. It would get away from all the loop holes they most big corporations enjoy via getting tax credits to the point of zero income tax. Fire the Department of education and trash the no child left behind act. Fire the EPA and put the function into the USDA. Fire the Department of Homeland Security and put the function in the military. Fire the department of energy. Fire the housing and urban development. Create and investigative unit with in the social security disability, the food stamp program, and other welfare programs. Get rid of the department of interior, who can name their function anyway? They are to handle Indian, Alaskan Native, and Native Hawaiian affairs. By having such a program is in itself racist, we are all Americans now after all. End any reparations from previous wars. Pass a balanced budget amendment immediately. If it does not pertain to the constitution of the United States, cut it. Oh I know the poor people need help. Well that is what communities are for, the needy, the homeless and the poor should be taken care of on that level. That is all.
