Allah SWT created every human different in terms of personality, and it is part of Islam to recognize these differences and embrace them. The Sahaba were not a group that all looked the same, dressed the same, talked the same and walked the same. Each companion was unique, and understood that Islam allowed them to be so. Among the Sahaba were those who were funny and those who were serious, those who were soft and those who were harsh, those who were quiet and those who were talkative. Its perfectly fine to be different from others, as long as those differences fall within the realm of Halal. As I always say, Be yourself, as long as being yourself is Halal Br.
