Allah described Himself by saying: Your Lord is never forgetful. Sometimes, it is a blessing from Allah upon us humans to forget! When people lose a love one, if it weren’t for forgetfulness, they would probably die out of sorrow and depression. A friend visited me the other day. He wasted half an hour trying to remember another person’s name but couldn’t. Life is strange! Another friend divorced his wife after a roller-coaster-like marriage. He said: life is funny! Whenever you want to forget someone, their name pops up all the time and everything around you reminds you of them!
