Allah has categorically stated in the suratul Anbiyai that Indeed, we have written in Azzabur before the holy Quran that my righteous slaves shall inherit the land verily in this there is a plain message for those who are worshippers and we have not send you (Muhammad (SAW)) but a merciful to mankind with this, the sunnah of the holy Prophet will continue to prevail with or withought any one.
