Allah (swt) said in Surah Al-Araf Suarh 7 Ayat 85 after the story of Lut (AS) And to the Madyan (Allah (SWT) sent) their brother Shuaib (AS), he said O my people! Worship Allah, you have no God other than Him, there has now come to you a clear sign from your Lord. Therefore give full measure and weight, and do not withhold from people their things, nor do any corruption on the earth after it has been set right. This is better for you if you are believers. And do not sit on every path, threatening and hindering from the way of Allah (swt), those who believe in Him, and you seek to make it crooked. And remember when you were few then He multiplied you, and behold how was the end of those who corrupt. And if there is a party of you who believed in the Message i have been sent with, and a party who do not believe, then hold yourselves in patience until Allah (swt) gives His judgment between us.
