Allow me to post this before it slips my mind (5:00AM) Since the past few months, there is a lot of requests (posted sa fb) if the National Youth Commission send or schedule recently appointed NYC Commissioner-at-large Dingdong Dantes to their event... It just makes me sad that the plight of the youth to have an interesting activities boils down to Comm Dantes being there... Nothing against Comm Dantes going to your activity (if he can, why not)... but the young people also have to realize that he is not the NYC... there are also equally good (and good looking) people that could be invited and represent the NYC. The Chair, the 4 other Commissioners (1 each for Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao and another At-Large) as well as its training staff are also capable of presenting the issues of the youth. Sana lang ma-realize nating na ang mahalaga ay yung activity, ang focus ay ung objectives nung activity... whether or not sana makapunta si Comm Dantes o hindi... pilitin natin maipaabot sa mga kabataan ang mga activities na ito! or baka mali lang ako sa pagkakaintindi... paumanhin po!
