Allow me to share an easy to assemble/disassemble Double-Cantilever Sticks Striking Dummy for Nunchaku & Eskrima sticks. Its mostly tied with rubber strips from old inner tubes of car or motorcycle tires. It has enough resilience to reduce impact stress upon the shoulder joints. I found this to be better than a rubber tire striking dummy alone & offers different targets with different angles & levels as one moves around to apply simple footwork. It is not suited for long & heavy sticks with double hand grip. For freestyle nunchaku practitioners, this can be a challenging task to practice. Those using a long-chained nunchaku should take extra care, because recoils can be dangerous. I use dummies similar to this, because I dont enjoy the luxury of a well-equipped dojo & several competent sparring partners. This can be useful in solo training for striking familiarization.
