Allow me to share my thoughts to you, brothers and sisters. Musical discrimination is a result of two things- one, peer pressure and two, narrow-mindedness. Naay rason ngano nahimo ang Punk Goes Pop albums and it is to bridge the gap between metal and pop and other mainstream genres. Understanding music, (not just the melody but also the lyrics) will lead to better point of views and less smack talk. I listen to Taylor Swift, 1D and even JB because they have written songs which I can relate to. But remember guys, listening to pop or hiphop or electronic dance music doesnt make you less metal. Metal is inside of you, and if you embrace it, it will stay with you until death. Peace be with us all!
