Allow me to vent. Perhaps you know somebody like this. I know that things offered in friendship should never be weighed on a scale. But some friends really make you wonder, dont they? After all that youve done for them, you ask them for something that is totally within their realm of expertise, something you know they can do in a matter of minutes (!), and they shrug you off to some other person. Sorry but my brain cannot resist but make an accounting of all the favors, tiny and huge, that I have done for this person. Fair-weather friend is what you call these people - by your side only when things are pleasant and profitable. Well you, my dear, will know this post pertains to you in due time. How I treat you from hereon will ensure this, believe me. Although I have to admit I have my doubts too, knowing fully well now that you have the epidermis of a pachyderm.
