Almost 4 years ago my life changed for the worst. New years eve my family was rear ended by a drunk driver which damaged my back. Going from a lady who was EXTREMELY active to being bed ridden for months then being pushed from one Dr to another to do surgery on my back. The insurance company wouldnt pay for my surgery so I was put on very strong pain meds and being told Im going to have to live with this pain in my back for the rest of my life. God put huge obstacles in my life...yes I got very depressed....I honestly thought I was being punished. I moved from Alaska to Kansas and decided to see a Dr about my back. With lots of prayer I got my MRI almost immediately and received a long awaited phone call yesterday from the Dr. They found several abnormalities in my back and they want to discuss possible surgery. The nurse told me Im going to get my life back . I cried...cried like a baby...almost 4 years later Im going to finally be out of pain...they are going to fix me! The moral of this story is always have Faith in God...life is fragile....no matter what....God will be there for you. I did get frustrated and very depressed but I didnt give up! Im not out of the woods just yet. Recovery from surgery is about 6 weeks. Please everyone keep not only me but my family especially my husband Matthew Beltran,..its going to be difficult but I know this is in Gods Hands.
